Mikie was the driving force behind Pawz 'n Clawz.
We adopted Mikie back in 2002 from an organization called Sled Dog Rescue of Tennessee. By doing this we started
to get involved. We saw the many needs of animals, and their owners, in our community. From there Pawz 'n
Clawz was born. So Mikie has always been like our mascot for this business.
Mikie was diagnosed with cancer back in November, 2007
and was put in peace on April 29, 2008. Mikie will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We shall continue to
honor his memory with Pawz 'n Clawz and every pet we love, help, and care for along the way.
Thank you Mikie for your friendship, your unconditional
love, and your dedication to our lives! We rejoice that you are no longer in pain!

We have started a charity in Mikie's name that will help
dogs who need good homes. Mikie was a product of rescue himself. Had someone not taken the time to rescue him
and get him the proper vet care that he needed, we never would have known him. We would like to continue this work in
Mikie's honor. Every dollar counts, please give to help those pets still in need. Thank you for your contribution,
